This is my black and white draft I created for the Masters Swim Team. My clients wanted the MWM (Mount Wachusett Masters) in there and liked the idea to have a wave. I've sent color ideas to the client as well. The coach for the team hasn't really given critique yet. I've said in my emails though that I can certainly make changes as needed and said I could certainly use a font instead of the hand-created typeface here. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put Service Learning work here. But feedback would be great on this.
How old are the members of this team? This might be a little young for them? I think a professional font would make more sense for the school-sponsored organization. And using a brush in Illustrator would help you create a smooth curve that underlines the type and splashes a few careful drops into the air. Maybe create a few more versions and send them as follow up?
