Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. This blog is produced by the GID Portfolio class under the direction of instructor Coni Porter.
This looks good! One thing, I notice is that the logo icon doesn't look as symmetric as it could be. And I wonder what it would look like with the logo to the left and the text on the right, for it to be horizontal. Either way, great work!
ReplyDeleteYes, make sure that tall symmetrical logo is exactly symmetrical - perfectly symmetrical. Because you have a tall thin logomark, I suggest you keep the proportions of the heading the same... tall and thin underneath the icon... just as you have it. In fact... I think you need to introduce more line spacing underneath each element... to emphasize the tallness of the design. Question... what does that company do? If I were to guess - I would think they made green technologies and consulted on sustainable building practices. Something with lumber and forests. Did I guess right?
