Branding Black and White Draft One
My logo is an abstracted representation of a dragonfly against a moon backdrop. I am trying to keep my design simple without too much line work. I used a typeface for my name that incorporated the spiral that is used throughout, but left the "graphic design" as a simple sans serif typeface to balance that out. Let me know what you think.
Jen, this is a very nice logo. I like the shapes that you have put together. I'm kind of curious to see what it would look like stand alone without the circle but then again I like how it plays in with the off balance of your name. My suggestion if the circle shape is applied is that the middle, darker shape should come up so it fits within it.
ReplyDeleteI really like this, the use of line and shape is really good and yet its so simple. The font choice is also really spot on because it goes well with the swirls shapes in the logo.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I also wonder if you need that circular shape. Remember - logos should be made of mostly shapes, to allow for boldness. The interior black shape works well with the swirls (which could themselves be a bit bolder)... but that thin circle appears a bit delicate. So I ask again... do you need it?
