Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. Here is my 2nd project submission. A fair amount of revisions were placed on it. Any feedback is much appreciated.
Ryan - looking at the cover, I'm wondering if you want us to read "A Feast for the People"? Currently they are too far apart for us to read it together. On the other hand, leaving "For the People" along the bottom would suffice to give us that old Soviet-style constructivist look. So...maybe you don't need "A Feast"?? In which case you would have more room on the cover for the nice rectangular design that holds the name and spoon/fork/star elements. This could fill the upper part of the cover more fully. Maybe the white area should move inside that rectangle, which would help is stand out against the tan background? Fonts... I find that the display font you have chosen for your heads isn't well suited for the item names. Do you find it hard to read? If so... using a sans serif bold would also be in keeping with the historic style and help us actually be willing to read the menu. Looking forward to this next stage!
