Magazine final draft?
Hi - I have made the suggested changes to my magazine. I have taken the stroke off of the serif typeface to make it easier to read and have played around with the sizing and positioning of the article titles on the cover. On the contents page I have made a few refinements and on the spread I have taken out the pins between the body copy columns and have neatened them up as well. Feedback appreciated.
Looks good. The changes have made this better. I've read the paragraphs of type on the inside spread, and wonder if you'd like to chunk a few more paragraphs in there - by indenting new paragraphs or even adding some space after each paragraph. It's pretty dense... and I think I see inconsistent pt sizes in the right hand column - check it out.
ReplyDeleteThe magazine design looks very nice. I really like the gradient blue and white background of both contents, cover and spread. I also like the fonts you chose. the yellow "contents" contrasts very nicely with the blue and white gradient background. Maybe add some space between the shirt and the second column of text would help make sure the shirt isn't overlapping the text "traditional."
