I shifted everything down to add more space between the title and the rest of the composite, as well as got rid of some of that whitespace down at the bottom. I also got rid of "A short story," because it's not needed if this is a book cover.
I love how you kept the black and white but added the little splash f color to the well, so our eyes have a focal point and you're implying something dark and creepy. I think it's awesome when someone can create something that can speak without having to use many words, and we know what the theme is, nice job!
