Client Logo Re-work and Color Variants

Hi guys. I have done some improvements on the client logo. I have used a vectorized typeface that I modified slightly to fit with the flow of the wave. I have also cleaned up the wave itself, as before the splashes and brush use was a bit too much. I feel this version is more cleaned up but still playful; I certainly don't want a swim team to seem too boring and structured, as swimming is very enjoyable for the team members. The team members are 18+, any age pretty much. It looks similar to the national Masters logo, but my clients seem to want to retain some uniqueness with it being the Mount's team. I have moved on to the color variants here as well. In this screenshot, I have a few artboards. I have the black and white version and then the separate artboards with variants of the color palettes chosen by the coach. The national team's colors are red and blue, so I'm thinking they will most likely go with that one, but I have some options. I know greens were an option as well, to be more like the MWCC logo. So, it really is up to them for colors, but feedback would still be appreciated. I can invert colors and adjust as needed, especially with the different versions of the wave. Thanks, guys!

  1. Hey Chels, I really like how you cleaned up the logo but still kept that whimsical/playfulness trait of the wave. I feel like the type fits so nicely and it maintains balance with the wave. As far as colors go I am favoring #1 on the sea foam color variants. It really stands out and I love how the different shades of blue interact with one another.
