Project 7
Here is my first photoshop project from last year. This was a Henry David Thoreau project. The first and second image shows a tiger with an overlay image of a waterfall. The top is supposed to mean that the earth is being polluted from factories. This is harming living species like tigers since people are destroying tiger habitats and other living species habitats. The bottom image shows a forest, a flower, and a tiger.
I have made some adjustments to the compositions.
Nikki, these are beautiful composites. The one critique I have is in the top graphic, I would get rid of that piece of machinery that looks to be coming from the tigers back on the far right. I know it's part of the first background picture but it carries a weight that I don't think is needed.
ReplyDeleteThese are so stunning, Nikki! I love them both. I like how on the second one, just by looking at the man-made structures you understand what the composite is trying to say. The flower is also a nice touch. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful piece of work and fits nicely with the quote. I think the thing that I would reconsider is the typeface that you used. I think a more flowing or serif typeface may fit nicely with the piece. I don't think the C in creature needs to be capitalized. Also you could try a bold, italic to emphasize the word "every" and "Henry David Thoreau" as well. If those words need to be in color, maybe grab a color from the flower to tie the work together in a unified way. I am not sure you need the ",...," in the quote. I think you may be indicating that you cut out part of the original quote, but it does seem to flow together nicely regardless. You really did a nice job with this.
