I absolutely love the new background, Sammi. The darker pink makes the type more readable and I love the yellow flourishes and ghost stroke on the bar with her name, as well as you adding her year of birth to death. The only thing I could think to maybe add would be a curved shape kind of in front of or behind her shoulder so her torso doesn't cut off right there. That's the only thing I can think of right now to add. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Chelsea that the lower left of her body, the cut off below that shoulder, is awkward. Do you not have any more of the photo in that area? If you do... then I would suggest adding her upper arm to finish off the portrait. The other thing to think about is if the vey jagged shapes around her lips appear here as actually more exaggerated than in reality? I wonder if you want to round those shapes a bit more, and make her appearance more appealing? Lastly, please notice the large negative space that separates the "E" and "d" in her name. What could you do to eliminate that? Consider enlarging the E, so the rest of the word can slide closer to that E?
