I have changed the font of my name for my logo, and I am not sure what I think about it.
Every time I see your brand I like it even more. I do like the typeface that you chose. I think that the hue you have chosen seems to disappear against the white background, and since your name/brand is the most important aspect of your logo, maybe work on increasing the contrast somehow. One thought is picking up the dark value from the flower and making that the new hue for your name. Another thought is adding a drop shadow or a using bold font for your name in the same typeface if available. I feel that somehow the space containing your name is almost looking 3D as it is and a few tweaks could really bring that out even more. Great job!
I agree - your name is simply disappearing. The artwork dominates, and your name is almost unreadable. It's all about contrast! Consider using a heavier face and you might not have to darken the color.
