Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. I have removed the circle around the dragonfly and have increased the point size of the stroke used to make the spiral shapes. I have added color into this update also.
Logomark implies energy, light-heartedness, and whimsy. It's lovely. If you are convinced that font is the right one for you, please enlarge it significantly so it isn't so dwarfed by the logomark. Maybe you could use "Jenn Dietz Design" on one line?
I really like this design, and it does look like a winged insect. Maybe try to do your name curved over the top of the logo and the graphic deign curved on the bottom so the words carve around the image containing the logo as a whole. Great job!
