This my logo and now I have added color to it, and I kind of like the glow around it. The flower I drew on paper and then traced it over in illustrator so it could have a more vector based look.
Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. I really like the hand drawn look of your logo. I do like the glow around the flower. I think if you add either two black strokes above and below your name, or choose a contrasting hue for your name, that it would really make it stand out from the flower. This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe orange outline really allows the shape of the flower to pop while giving off a feeling of warmth that is commonly associated with flowers, excellent color choice. The font is perfect not to bold or to thin.
ReplyDeleteThe flower design and color looks very nice and beautiful. I just think the name has became too wide. Maybe writing the last name with smaller size, helps to have a better composition.
ReplyDeleteI think the typography need to be strengthened a bit - and that can be accomplished with a bolder font, a stronger color, and a bit more negative space around the letters (which is what I think Sahar is suggesting when she mentions a smaller font).
