Moondog Revisions
So, upon further revision of the Moondog project, I added a new font to replace the Century Gothic subhead. I was able to find this Hippy-ish, almost Celtic font called "Volute", which I think fits the mood of Moondog's music and aesthetic.
I have two different versions. One that maintained the original color scheme of the first revision, and another, which was just experimentation with a triad color palette. I'm not entirely sure I prefer one over the other, but at the very least, I'm Happy with the composition and typeface pairing. If anyone has any suggestions for which would be better for my portfolio, I would be stoked to hear it!
I love the brightness and the contrast in the first design, but I also love the pale yellow color in the second design. Maybe you can add the pale yellow color to the first design? Overall, Nice job!
ReplyDeleteRyan - I'm not totally convinced the rework is more successful than the earlier version. Is there a reason why you've dulled all the colors so much?
