So I'm making an advert using this logo. I am planning on using different colors when I actually make the add this is mainly as a base, any thoughts?
I agree with the Melissa's comment above. And I wonder if you want to enlarge the size of the type at the bottom (so it is readable when this is reduced) AND consider filling the circle with red or black, and fill the shape of the cup with white with white smoke. Remember... logo design should usually be built with bold shapes rather than lines and outlines.
This looks great, my only suggestion would be to add some more spacing between the text and circle shape.
