Final Project (#10): Kid's Clothing Design and Branding
Hey guys. Here is my final portfolio project for this class. I really wanted to create something geared toward children and parents, as my other things were generally geared toward adults. I had the idea to create a custom illustrated logo and patterns for a gender-neutral kid's clothing line that was waterproof/stain-proof/mess proof. Otters have waterproof fur so I named the brand "Little Otters: Waterproof Playwear" and designed this logo for it. I went on to create mockups and ads for it, appealing to the parents that would be buying the clothing. I feel it's a good idea to encourage creative and messy play in clothes that are mess-proof. Feedback is appreciated! Thanks guys.
I love these! The illustration looks so cute and the name is so fitting! The mockups are really strong, the last one is my favorite. The colors all unite really good together.
ReplyDeleteI also really love the otter illustration! The fonts pair really well with each other and the colors stand out! I also love the footprint illustrations! I also love the slogans and the images! Overall, Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, and a great product! Logo works perfectly. Your first 2 mockups seem to be part of the same campaign - but the 3rd one does not. You may need to decide which way to go, and either use just the first 2, or just the 3rd. If you choose the first 2 - I suggest you put the message together instead of breaking it into 2 parts. Decide to emphasize certain words, so that the shape of the text block works best in the design. (#1 would need to read: Kids get messy but their clothes don't need to!)
ReplyDeletei really love this design and how smooth it is. I think everything came together really well and it stands out in so many ways. I think the cute little animal face is perfect for the message you are expressing.
