Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designer students. This final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. I think this looks good. Adding a sentence on the bottom right will really help it over-all. Is it intentional to make the logo look like its floating? Maybe take out the drop shadow of it to make it more flat looking like the coffee beans.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the drop shadow, but you may not need it. Remember - flat design is the current style... so drop shadows are not often seen... unless the designer feels they add an important depth. So - it's up to you. Adding a short sentence in italic makes sense to me... remember you are adding a "shape" to the design... so maybe 1 line, or maybe breaking it into 2 lines? Experiment with the shape of the text block.
