I have compared this interior layout with your cover... and wonder if there is a way to unify them just a bit more. They appear to belong to different projects. Are there fonts that could be pulled from the cover to the inside? Colors? Let's make sure they appear visually together. The type inside the pink bordered text box appears very ragged right, especially the top paragraph. Any way to improve the shape of that "chunk" of type? The section subhead "Featuring" should probably read "Features" and sit more closely with the section it is heading. Right now, it reads as the last line in the first paragraph. This will be a strong project for you!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I reaaaally love the colour in this. I can't quite explain it, but the black and pink have just a really nice contrast that makes it feel almost "soft", and the blue in the photo does really good to draw your eye. Maybe you could add a dash more of that blue to the page to certain areas you'd want to draw more attention to? Also, the font for the page numbers seems to read a bit strange, with the different X-heights; for example I read the 5 in 15 first.
ReplyDeleteI really like the layout you chose for your contents page. The colors you chose fits the design. Your design is balanced. I love the fonts you chose for the title and text. To unify the design with the cover, maybe add some yellow from the cover design.
