Project 6
These are my ad campaigns for my product. The company Proshield provides forcefields to firefighters, police, and emergency personnel that will protect themselves and other people from natural disasters, bullets, and explosions. These are my three ads, web banner, and iPhone ad.
The mission:
The first design is quite successful and seems to hold the type in just the right position. I am wondering why you reduced Force Field" in the second 2 ads. It runs down the right side (which is fine) but seems smaller and sits lower in the composition along that edge. I say - use it at the same exact size as ad #1, and make sure to use opacity on all headings throughout the campaign. The photo compositing looks good, although #2 ad could use a little more work. Notice in #1 and #3 how the values of the colors behind the hero figure darken quickly... this doesn't seem to happen in #2. The ambulance seems very white, in fact more white than the figure. I suggest you darken the mid-ground here, as you have in the other ads... so the hero figure stands out in contrast more clearly. I think the words "Force Field" in the phone ad need to be larger and sit in a similar manner as in ad #1 - which it is based on.
ReplyDeleteI think the first design is the strongest, and it has really good contrast and visual stimulation throughout the piece. I think it highlights the importance of the ad and shows strong imagery of what your picture is about.
