I really like this portfolio because he has a memorable logotype, a unique art style, and the site emphasizes on his work and not so much on text to describe each job with a client. It was nice to just appreciate the artwork. I enjoyed the interactivity of clicking on each design and seeing more on that individual piece.

Wow these are so great! I am just adoring Kate's style. I love the rainbows and graffiti designs. I also really like Joshua's astrology-style animals and how detailed his illustrations are. The murals in the first portfolio are insanely good too. I can't imagine painting that well and I too quite like the layout of the site... all the sites are awesome in fact. Awesome choices, Melissa.
ReplyDeleteI liked the joshuanoom portfolio. I really appreciate the graphic style that is consistently carried throughout the different projects. It is inspiring to see that, as a designer, you can keep to your style and aesthetic and adapt it in many ways to meet the specifications of a project. This portfolio showcases work on many different projects, from album covers, to playing cards, to tee shirts and hair products, which allows the viewer to imagine the wide variety of ways that this designer's work can be used.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the minimalistic layout of Jennet's portfolio! The website is very simple and easy to navigate which I like. All these portfolios are easy to navigate as well. I also like the video clips that show them working on a mural or modeling their apparel. In Kate's portfolio, I also love how her designs are very colorful and bright.
